WANTED: New members for the ASA Council

The ASA is seeking three new independent members to join its decision-making body – the ASA Council. The ASA Council has ultimate responsibility for deciding whether or not ads comply with the advertising codes. Council members can serve for a maximum of two three-year terms.  The 15 members of Council are appointed by the ASA Chairman, and in this instance the new appointments will be made by the current ASA Chairman, Lord Borrie Q.C, in consultation with the Chairman-designate, Lord Smith of Finsbury. Interested applicants must not be, or ever have been, involved in the advertising or marketing world. Closing date for applications is Wednesday 28 February. Further information can be found here.
