Advice:am Direct Marketing Seminar

Up Close and Personal: a guide to the Direct Marketing and Database Practices rules will take place on Tuesday 4 July 2006 from 9am to 10.30am at CAP’s offices in London. While direct marketing becomes increasingly personalised, reaching consumers wherever they are, its content must still comply with the CAP Code. The rules in the Code cover obtaining, compiling, processing and use of personal data for the purpose of marketing products/services through direct mail, e-mail and text message. This informative morning master class will give you the low down on the rules and regulations and help you stay compliant without compromising the creativity of your DM campaigns. CAP Regulation Update

ASA Graduate Training Seminars for IPA agencies
23 – 26 October 2006, ASA offices, London
An opportunity for graduate recruits into IPA advertising agencies to find out more about the self-regulatory system and meet with ASA staff. Interactive workshops provide the chance to judge ‘real’ ads according to the codes and compare decisions with those taken by ASA Council.
