We have appointed Tom Kelman as our new Director of Corporate Services. He succeeds Trevor Ellis, who leaves after 5 years with the ASA’s best wishes.

Tom joins us from the International Institute of Strategic Studies where he was Director of Administration. An experienced finance and corporate services professional he has held senior management roles in a number of organisations, including the Charity Finance Group where he was Interim Director of Resources and The Association of Accounting Technicians where he was Director of Finance and Corporate Services.

Of his appointment, Tom said: “The success of the ASA’s five year strategy, in particular having more impact and being more proactive relies, in part, on ensuring staff are provided with the leadership, as well as equipped with the tools and resources, needed to carry out new ways of working. I’m looking forward to leading the team and delivering on key projects so that the organisation achieves its ambition of making every UK ad a responsible ad.”

ASA Chief Executive, Guy Parker said: “I’m delighted to welcome Tom on board. He has a strong and long-standing background in finance and corporate services. Tom joins us midway through our five year strategy and central to its success is having a robust and effective financial and corporate framework in place to help achieve our aims.”

Tom takes up his position on 16 November 2015.
