This year's Annual Statement includes details of how we have successfully continued to manage an increased workload in the wake of our new online remit responsibility, exceeding most of our Key Performance Indicators. We have also taken a more proactive approach to working with advertisers to ensure compliance with the Advertising Codes and have launched a stakeholder relationship management programme, where ASA and CAP staff work closely with key stakeholders on a long term basis.

It also sets out our 2013 objectives including our commitment to ensure ads in all media are legal, decent, honest and truthful, to protect the public and help consumers, business and society better trust advertising. In addition, we will continue to place more emphasis on prevention rather than cure by making CAP Advice and Training available to more practitioners, more of the time.
