The website included claims such as We have over 120 exclusive contracts with bars, clubs, restaurants, and event companies to provide them with seasonal staff next summer; Ace Working Holidays have been helping 1st year workers with jobs and accommodation for over 7 summer seasons and Ace Working Holidays is the only workers' company based in the UK...

The ASA investigated the above claims to establish whether Ace Working Holidays Ltd could substantiate the claims and whether they had evidence to support the comparative claim to be the only workers’ company based in the UK. Ace Working Holidays Ltd provided no response to the ASA’s enquiries and offered no evidence to support the claims. As a result the ASA published a Ruling against Ace Working Holidays Ltd on 6 March 2019.

The CAP Compliance team contacted Ace Working Holidays Ltd but, in the absence of a response, took the decision on 13 March 2019 to place their company details on this section of the ASA website. These details shall remain in place until such time as Ace Working Holidays Ltd has removed or appropriately amended the claims on to ensure compliance with the CAP Code.
