ParentPort is run by the UK’s media regulators (including the ASA), and aims to set and enforce standards across the media to protect children from inappropriate material.
If you’ve heard or seen something you think is unsuitable to children, ParentPort is there to provide you with information around the relevant standards expected from the media, as well as the ability to make a complaint and share your views.
Examples of the types of concerns that Parenport deals with include:
- TV and radio programmes
- Ads across all media
- Films at the cinema, online or on DVD
- Newspapers and magazines
- Computer games, online and offline
