Normal working hours are 35 per week, although we consider ourselves to be a flexible organisation and operate both a flexitime and accrued time system and we are accommodating to those who have commitments outside of work, considering appropriate flexible working requests from all staff.
Holidays and benefits
Holiday entitlement starts at 25 days and builds up to 28 days after 3 years’ service, with an option to buy or sell up to 5 days each year. We also offer an extensive range of benefits, including Life Assurance, interest free season ticket loan, membership of our contributory pension scheme, child care vouchers and membership of our Employee Assistance Programme, which provides confidential support and advice. We also have a number of other flexible benefits, such as dental insurance and critical illness cover, which you can choose to buy annually through our flexible benefits provider.
We are also a friendly and sociable organisation, holding an annual summer party and Christmas party as well as various other events throughout the year which are organised by our sports and social committee, a group of employees elected each year and given the task of arranging social events for the organisation.
