Background
Misleading Advertising: Angelic Crystals Leeds breaks UK advertising rules for making misleading health claims about the treatment of medical conditions using crystals on the www.angeliccrystalsleeds.co.uk website.
The ASA has previously investigated ads with similar claims, and in the absence of evidence to support the claims, has ruled that such claims are misleading.
To date neither CAP nor the ASA have seen any evidence that crystals or crystal therapy can be used to treat medical conditions.
The CAP Compliance team contacted Angelic Crystals Leeds and in the absence of an assurance to amend its advertising, the CAP Compliance team took the decision on 3 December 2024 to place its company details on this section of the ASA website.
Due to Angelic Crystal Leeds' non-compliance and disregard for the CAP Code, the CAP Compliance team took the decision to reissue its company details on this section of the ASA website on 26 November 2025.
These details shall remain in place until such time as Angelic Crystals Leeds removes or appropriately amends the claims on the www.angeliccrystalsleeds.co.uk website to comply with the CAP Code.
