Background

Misleading and irresponsible advertising: LTTGFRS Ltd t/a ISinwheel and iScooter break UK advertising rules for suggesting that privately-owned electric scooters can be used in public places and featuring videos showing the use of privately-owned electric scooters in public places, on the www.isinwheel.co.uk website.

Despite repeated requests from the CAP Compliance team, LTTGFRS Ltd continues to suggest that privately-owned electric scooters can be used in public places.

The CAP Compliance team contacted LTTGFRS Ltd but in the absence of an assurance to amend or remove from its websites, any material which suggests that privately-owned electric scooters can be used in public places, the CAP Compliance team initially took the decision on 22 April 2025 to place their company details on this section of the ASA website.

On 02 October 2025, after further attempts to contact LTTGFRS Ltd regarding their advertising on iScooter, the CAP Compliance team took the decision to update the company details on this section of the ASA website.

These details shall remain in place until such time that LTTGFRS Ltd amends www.isinwheel.co.uk and www.iscooterglobal.co.uk to comply with the CAP Code.
