Misleading Advertising: Rehab Clinics Group breaks UK advertising rules for making misleading claims concerning the provision of drug and alcohol rehabilitation services in Peebles on the www.rehabclinicsgroup.com website.
The Ethical Marketing Campaign for Addiction Treatment (EMCAT) brought to the ASA’s attention, claims on the www.rehabclinicsgroup.com website that refer to a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic in Peebles. On the basis of the complaint, the ASA understands that Rehab Clinics Group does not operate a clinic in Peebles and, as such, the claims are misleading. The case was referred to the CAP Compliance team.
Due to Rehab Clinics Group's continued non-compliance and disregard for the CAP Code, the CAP Compliance team took the decision to reissue its company details on this section of the ASA website on 11 August 2026.
These details shall remain in place until such time as Rehab Clinics Group has appropriately amended their advertising on the www.rehabclinicsgroup.com website to comply with the CAP Code.
