Misleading Advertising: SnackVerse Ltd breaks UK advertising rules for misleading claims about the past variety of its country-themed monthly snack boxes on the “PREVIOUS BOXES” page on the www.snackverse.com website.

The ASA investigated a complaint from a consumer who had not received the themed snack boxes from the countries as described in the claims.

In the investigation SnackVerse Ltd was unable to demonstrate that subscribers, who otherwise met the terms of the service, had received the specific country-themed snack boxes for the given months listed on the page. On this basis the ASA ruled that the claims were misleading.

The CAP Compliance team contacted SnackVerse Ltd but, in the absence of an assurance to amend their website to comply with the ruling, took the decision on 29 May 2026 to place their company details on this section of the ASA website. These details shall remain in place until such time as SnackVerse Ltd has removed or amended the claims in its advertising on the www.snackverse.com website to comply with the CAP Code.
