CAP and BCAP are consulting on changes to the rule limiting advertising of low-alcohol products.

In the context of an increased market for low-alcohol products, higher consumer take-up, and stricter guidelines on alcohol consumption, CAP and BCAP propose removing a restriction on promoting their strength in order to enable marketers to advertise low-alcohol products alongside standard strength drinks.

The consultation will run until 5pm on 15 April 2021. Details on how to respond can be found in the consultation document.
