Radiocentre is the industry body for commercial radio, and is responsible for pre-clearing radio advertisements and sponsorship credits for commercial radio in the UK.
Radiocentre provide three core functions for its members:
- Promoting the benefits of radio as an advertising channel to advertisers and agencies via a variety of marketing activities, including events, PR, research, and training
- Providing UK commercial radio with a united voice on issues that affect the way that radio stations operate, to help secure the best environment for growth and development
- Ensuring advertising messages on commercially available radio stations meet the BCAP Code of Broadcast Advertising and the Ofcom Broadcasting Code
