From June to September last year, BCAP ran a public consultation on proposals to amend rules in its Code that address offence and the scheduling of TV ads for sanitary products, following a consideration of the Equality Act 2010. Having considered responses to its consultation, BCAP has decided to maintain its proposals and introduce changes to the CAP Code with immediate effect.

This document is our Regulatory Statement setting out BCAP’s views on the consultation process, together with an evaluation table giving detail of the responses provided and BCAP’s assessment of them. Please see sections 4 and 32 of the BCAP Code to see the rules in their amended form.
