With rising concerns about the environmental impact of products, from their energy efficiency to their carbon footprint, consumers are increasingly keen to know as much as possible about the products they’re buying. Governments and regulators have also made commitments to tackle these issues, and there are a number of laws and regulations about how to describe products that use up energy. If ads for these products include claims about either their price or their energy consumption, their energy consumption class needs to be labelled clearly and accurately.
