Following formal approval of the associated rules and guidance by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Ofcom, the Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP and BCAP) have concluded their consultation on the implementation of the less healthy food and drink product advertising restrictions.
This regulatory statement confirms the arrangements for new restrictions, which will introduce additional controls on certain types of food and drink advertising.
