Following public consultation, CAP and BCAP, are introducing guidance that would require mid-contract price rises to be more prominently stated in telecoms advertising across media.

This Regulatory Statement follows on from the consultation carried out from September 2022. The new Guidance on mid-contract price increases in telecoms ads will take effect from 15 December 2023, following a six-month grace period.

Alongside this Regulatory Statement, we are also publishing our Evaluation Table of the responses received to the consultation, and copies of the full responses, below.
