Communications and Marketing Manager
Part-time; 3 days / week (times to be agreed)
Salary £42,500 pro-rated plus benefits
Start date: ASAP

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is seeking to recruit a Communications and Marketing Manager to oversee the organisation’s marketing and communications activities.

Operating in a fast-moving media, regulatory and political landscape, you will be a highly motivated individual, who is comfortable leading an experienced team across marketing, events and press activities.

With continued societal and media interest on topics such as the commercialisation and sexualisation of childhood, alcohol and the depiction of women in advertising, the Communications and Marketing Manager will play an important role making sure the ASA is responding to debates, in particular by ensuring that we are open and accessible to the public and promoting the use of our training and advice resources amongst the industry.

This is a varied role that would suit a multi-disciplined professional who is just as comfortable working through others as they are acting as an ambassador for the ASA system.

The ASA is the UK self-regulatory body for ensuring that all advertisements, wherever they appear, are legal, decent, honest and truthful. The Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs team promotes and supports the work of the advertising self-regulatory system to a wide range of audiences.

If it sounds like the role could be for you, please email your completed application form and CV to careers@asa.org.uk. Please specify which role you are applying for.

Please note: we are not accepting applications for this role via agencies – only direct applicants that submit a completed application form and a CV will be considered.

Closing date: 5pm on Monday 20th February 2012
