This Annual Report looks at the performance of the ASA and CAP in 2019. In particular, it focuses on how we're doing at implementing our five-year strategy to have More Impact Online.
The report sets out the facts and figures for how we did, but more importantly it tells the stories of how we're using cutting-edge technologies to monitor ads online and take enforcement action, for example through our 'Avatar' monitoring work.
We also had a record-setting year when it came to CAP's delivery of advice and training to the ad industry, helping businesses to get their ads right first time.
